What Wildwoodatheart doesn't like about The Shoe Pub:
We were staying at the hotel across the street, so we walked over to get some dinner. It was a lovely evening, so we opted to sit outside in their backyard . Our waitress was absolutely fantastic, very friendly and fun. The food, however, was nothing special. Fish and Chips was ok. The fish was supposedly fresh, but it seemed more like frozen. Stopped by for dinner tonight. Young lady was runner the entire severe herself. With a smile and great attitude.
Friendly local pub. Also way bigger inside than it looks. Nice staff too.
Lived across from the shoe for 20 years and have watched in it go down the drain. we use to go every friday night for music trivia and had a great time. Now, only stop in after golf for a pint or two and thats it. Staff is great and prices are way cheaper than the golf course. We now drive to one of croftons 2 pubs when we go out. Pretty sad! Owner just doesn't give a ****!
We think the pub should have more help on Saturday nights.
