La Trattoria La Nonna

The dishes were very good and the staff very welcoming. The atmosphere is hot. We're happy.

I've known this place for more than 30 years and after the new manager was reappointed, I was afraid to know what I loved. I can even make a cross on too precious memories. a very pleasant welcome, friendly and funny waiters, a quality cuisine and a small care boss. the decoration was given to the taste of the day and I know that other developments happen. Italian restaurant not to be missed. for my part I reserve for tonight in love.

Pizza tastes nothing, like paper (and the cheese has a taste of plastic)I never got my plate (after 1 h waiting), overpriced salad without sauce. They give a very good service to the frequent/usual guest who got their food after 10 minutes, while « new » customers have to wait 1 hour. I had to eat dinner when I got back home. Cause only a tiny salad to 9 euros and now main dish arrived. Never again! It used to be a nice real Italian place, now it’s nothing...

Like many European restaurants, this one was wedged onto a corner at the end of the street. We ordered typical French lunches and then the waiters came by with a Calzone the size of Rhode Island. (I don't like to exaggerate. . It was gorgeous with a nice tomato sauce baked in. I don't remember what I ordered except for the 25 CL of white wine for 5 euros. Service was o.k. Place was cute.

I have now eaten in this restaurant 3 times over four years and the last time (this weekend) was only due to the fact that 1. The other restaurants were full and 2. The ownership has apparantly changed. Each experience was underwhelming to say the least and unfortumately the last experience was just no better. The place is far from cozy, has a very strange smell and has a nice open view on the toilets (which might contribute to the smell). Service is ok yet slow we waited 30 minutes for our pizzas and the place was half empty and the food was just not great. I keep reading reviews from people that are stating that this was the best pizza I have ever tasted so PLEASE.......unless you have been living underground or have lived in many places and tasted pizzas that aren 't from tourist traps STOP making ridiculous incorrect comments about very mediocre pizzas. These aren 't wonderful and they aren 't the best pizzas, they are very, very average..... Anyway, enough of that, place hasn 't really improved, atmosphere is still not great, service is slow (yet friendly) and food is anything but special. As such, I will definately not be eating here a fourth time........
