"My husband and I tried this place out for our anniversary. It was the best food we 've had in this area EVER, starting with the cocktails, right through dessert. We even got a special happy anniversary message written in Carmel sauce, which surprised us because I barely said it was our anniversary loud enough for our server to hear! Thank you to the chefs and servers for going above and beyond. It truly reaches your customers!"

"Early and casual light dinner on a quiet Monday evening. The waitress was very friendly and service fairly quick on a not so busy night. The food was simple but tasty. They had a varied menu, but didn't want to have a big dinner. The restaurant was freezing when we arrived, but it had large dinning rooms, which was fairly empty at 6pm. Otherwise a pleasant sports bar type of restaurant."

"Stopped here for lunch on our way home from summer vacation because we were sick of mcdonald’s, subway and other typical road food. what a pleasant surprise! we were a table of 6 with 4 kids and were served quickly and with awesome, friendly service. food was standard bar fare but super fresh and quite good. the soft pretzel and cheese sauce was a huge hit with all us. we’ll definitely stop here again on our way to/from the chippewa. highly recommend."

"Oh, my God, this place is amazing!!!! I am a newcomer in the oak lawn tavern and I must say her food is absolutely delicious!! I tried the rib dinner that came with a potato, vegetables, Koleslaw and I also tried the sparrow that was over delicious. It came with bacon and fried onions on Gooey Mac and cheese. Great bartender and great service with a smile. The waiting staff is fantastic! It is a tiny, juicy little bar that is owned by the family and they can also have a meat refinery and a gun refine You can also use the bike during the Happy Hour for a free drink, half price drink or 50 off turn. I highly recommend this facility. "
