We used Lures to cater a family gathering. We had crab balls and Jalapeño rangoons both of which were excellent. The crab balls were actually like a half-size jumbo lump crab cake. We had two different salads, short-rib lasagna and chicken and shrimp farfalle. Again, both were excellent. Lures provided plates and plastic ware, warming trays, sterno. They really took good care of us. View all feedback.
What Zoe Rose Cross doesn't like about Lures And Grille:
Decided to give this place a second chance and take the family out for dinner. Pleasant vibe and nice staff. The kids enjoyed their meal. My foodie husband tolerated his Blackened Rockfish and I had a delicious house salad and the worst cream of crab soup I ever had...smh. The bowl literally had clunks of flour at the bottom, way too much Sherry and when sitting for a few there's water on top.Not sure what the hype i... View all feedback.
It's always a great time eating here. We have never been disappointed and drive over an hour to eat here as often as possible. Chicken pasta is amazing!

Yummy dinner as always and they were kind enough to find a table for us in the dining room to accommodate a stroller. My only recommendation is to choose a different bowl for the salads. It is stuffed to the brim and I kept spilling lettuce onto the table.
The atmosphere was nice. The service was nice. The drinks were great, although the margaritas would have been better with a salted rim. The food looked fantastic, but it was horrible, with the exception of the fried pickles (which were the only thing with any actual flavor aside from the taste of oil). The nacho chachos were wet and soggy. The fish and chips were mostly breading and had no taste aside from a slight oil flavor. The messy hot chicken sandwich was the same thing, no flavor aside from a slight taste of oil. The fries tasted like oil with a hint of old bay. The mac and cheese looked amazing but tasted like plain noodles. We couldn't even eat the food. We essentially spent $160 for a pizza since the food here was so bad we didn't eat it and instead ordered a pizza on the way home. The waiter seemed completely unsurprised when we declined take home boxes despite having eaten only two-three bites of each item and seemed to not notice the looks of disgust on our faces at the mere thought of continuing to eat anymore of this fare at any point. The really sad thing is that I was so excited to go here after having read so many great reviews, and I am soooooooo disappointed. I won't be back. If you can't eat salt, or spices, or you prefer to eat bland, tasteless food, then this is the place for you. If you like delicious flavorful food, I suggest you avoid this place like the plague and head to one of the many fantastic restaurants that serve food with flavor. I am not a particularly picky person and normally just eat whatever I've ordered without complaint and I try to only write reviews that are positive or, I just leave stars and don't write a review at all, but I have never had worse food in my life.
This place is popular and seems to get quite busy, but there's plenty of parking. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and our server was friendly. The sweet potato fries are the best. Next time I'll try something else as the Reuben was overly greasy (even for a Reuben) and hard to eat.
