La Grillade was the first restaurant I ever had snails at about 15 years ago. Amazing then and amazing now! This cozy little restaurant is a unique neighbourhood gem. Very underwhelmed - we had a Scoopon voucher so I can understand the menu being a little limited but everything was pretty bland. Would have thought they'd try to impress to get you to come back - certainly wasn't anything to write home about, I was happy we hadn't paid! Pretty sure the wine I had was open too long too. Great atmosphere and service! A very homely looking restaurant. The snails were very generously buttered and the duck with orange sauce was very good too.
