What Alfonso G doesn't like about Rincon Santa Fe:
I don’t usually like to eat in shopping malls, but Rincon de Santa Fe and other fancy restaurants at the giant mall in Santa Fe, near Mexico City, have the advantage of being located in two floors completely separated from the commercial area. The restaurant serves Argentinean food, pasta and other international choices but I went for meat, which is very tender and juicy. The place is pricy but worth if you have been... View all feedback.
They offer the choice of terrace and indoor room with more terrance-like decoration, including a sky-painted ceiling. Very family friendly, with a playground on the upper floor. A big cave will be the entrance, but when we visited, it wasn’t ready and kids climbed a stair near the bar. No shoes or food are allowed on the playground, anti slippery socks are mandatory or the restaurant offers bright colored ones charged to your account. Four girls (6 on weekend) watch the kids and ask for a parent”s phone because they’re not allowed out without a parent. They have facilities and rules similar to professional playgrounds. Back to food, I started with an interesting clericot with cantaloupe, that also can be order by pitcher. Chimichuri, tomato sauce, white beans and butter, with fresh baked house bread were complimentary offered. The Greek salad was prepared by our table. The meat was delicious; we order ours medium rare and the waiter finished of the cooking on a portable grill. Bathrooms are limited; the ones upstairs were out of service (at least the one for girls) and the ones near the entrance are very tight. Leftovers were packed in a convenient take away bag. We had cheese and fruit paste as dessert, and since we only wanted a small portion, it was offered on the house.
Nunca me he sentido decepcionada.
