"While we ordered the three course menu at €28, we ended being served seven or eight courses. The quality of the food was excellent and was complimented by effective and efficient service by the young staff. My starter which was a very lightly poached egg...on boudin noir with tiny croutons and diced Apple was simply delicious. I cannot wait to return. We drank a bottle of local red wine Puy Real from Famille Laurent which was perfect."

"I arrived just before 1pm for lunch. Only one table was occupied on the terrace. However I was told the restaurant was full. Tables were occupied inside and apparently the chef did not have capacity for more. I was on my own and there were plenty of unoccupied tables outside. It was just an unpleasant no and no effort was made, for instance to ask the chef if he really could not cook for just one more. It was quite unbelievable and I must admit I have never experienced this before in a restaurant which has plenty of unoccupied tables. It gives you an idea."
