"I hesitated to leave a less than positive review, especially with family owners/operators, but I do it for others. After reading many positive commentary, I decided this as my place to go to vatertagsfest with my wife. I expected a casual, fine culinary experience, in a romantic atmosphere. it was better suited for the males in their shorts and baseball caps, dressed for the next trip to cracker barrel. my entree was garnel and crust fish with roasted redfish good, but not big, could have used additional spices. my wife ordered the Creole Black Chicken. it was overcooked and extremely dry and served with little to any sauce. it may have been tanned, but they would never suspect that it had two or three bites, as it was too hard to cut and close to unbearability. and we would have said something, but no one checked for a few minutes to ask if we would enjoy our eating. as it is, was mentioned when our waiter came back at the end of the meal, and he was kind enough to get us some sauce and a container to go. very disappointing and regretting that I suggested my wife."

"I've been there times before and wanted to try my luck again. While the service was very good and he was very attentive. Chips and salsa were a nice treat. But the chicken was no to my tasting. It was very thick and chunks of chicken, were just that. I'm not giving up on them so maybe in 6 months or a year I'll try again."
