The Texaco Fillin' Station - Cullman

Downhome favorites in a aesthetically delightful venue. I had the chicken casserole, squash casserole, and Diet Mt. Dew casserole. My only complaint is that I NEED MORE CASSEROLES.

If you want a good meal, eat at THE FILLIN STATION.

A friend and I stopped at noon after I was told by a friend living in Gardendale, AL. I had the Taco salad that was very good. My friend had meat leaflets and two sides (loaded potato sorole) I don't remember the second side. He said it was good, but wouldn't go so far that it was very good. We plan a return trip (as the weather will cooler) with our Sr. middle group to give it another try. We are asked to give a message of at least 24 hours, as we are a larger group (about 20) so that they can be prepared for us. A thumb of me. Mark

This is a really sweet and unique place! Food is freshly cooked and ordered and with a large southern smile! Stop for cold drinks from cooler and quick treats! Do not miss the newly added “Oil Bay” with cozy stands and player piano! Don't miss your chance to kiss the moose or ring the Elkenhorn.... Biggest game shows this side of the mountain! Don't miss the Fillin Station!

I can not say enough good stuff about The Fillin Station. The shepard's pie is awesome. The Smash cheeseburger is the bomb. Ms. Pam goes over and beyond the call of duty to take care of her customers. I even herd she takes a special delivery to a veteran every day. Now that's a special person. Good food Good people!!
