I’m trying to figure out what was wrong about this place. The flavor of the cheese, the ham and (don’t hate) pineapple was very on point. The sauce had good flavor and the crust was tender and just crisp enough. This may seem like a silly thing, but the soda that I purchased was at a nice cold temperature. What Carol Koziol doesn't like about Mama's Pizza Subs:
Pickle chips...tasted ok, but only got like 9 small pieces. Nothing to them! Calzone. Absolutely the worst. I have never said that about a calzone. Crust/dough, no flavor. Hubby is a chef and says the dough is not salted at all...you need to properly salt your dough. The cheese was also very bland. Sauce was very good, so we scraped out the filling and put sauce on it so we can eat something. Won't be going back. View all feedback.
