I was invited to attend a business function at the Rita Hayworth Dining Room at SONY Studios. You check in at security at the Madison Street Gate (between Washington and Culver) and they check ID, check you off the invite list, and badge you and your car and direct you to a parking spot right inside the gate. I was turned away from the bar because my ID is a US government issued employment authorization document. It's good enough to get me through airport security but apparently not enough for a Wolfgang Puck glass of wine. I showed my California State ID too, which is expired because I'm applying for a green card, hence the employment ID. Do you just not serve immigrants...? Ridiculous. View all feedback.
