"Let me start by saying I am a brisket girl. While it was delicious it was the pulled pork that was the star for me. Tender, moist and flavorful. The house sauce was not necessary but certainly was a tasty bite when added. I also ordered the pit beans and potatoe salad. Beans were tasty. I enjoyed the flavor of the salad but just wished the spuds were cooked a minute or 2 longer. I was sad the chili wasn't available on this rainy day. I will be back for sure. What a great addition to the area. Keep up the great BBQ!"

"The service is really good. Very friendly, warm and caring staff! This was our first visit here and felt very welcome. The coffee is terrific, the cups were well sized and wait staff made sure my cup never got below half before a warm up came around! This is fantastic. The food was great for the most part. Everything was great except home-fries. Now, this is a subjective thing as many reviews here do love the style this place serves. I noticed that many breakfast places serve this style, so there must be a demand for it. The home fries are boiled potatoes that are chopped, seasoned (mostly color and little flavor) and then done on the grill. They are not crispy nor flavorful, however, you can season them yourself to your liking I guess. They have an option for loaded home fries which is pretty good, mostly same potatoes but with cheese and hollandaise sauce. Overall: great place, will surely go back! Final Grade: A"

"First time here on a recommendation from a friend, I enjoyed my meal and service here for sure and would definetly come back and give this place another try. My gripe with the place would be the signature Mozambique sauce although I did still think it was good it 's really loaded with garlic and seasonings and comes as a borderline paste. I thought well maybe it was just the free sauce they issue but the shrimp Mozambique came out the same. Alot of flavor but for me in my opinion for what it 's worth tasted good but not for me and the waitress didn 't offer us any desserts or additional drinks the bill just casually showed up and probably missed out on a few more drinks. That 's my John Taffer rule, close out the table before I 'm done well now I 'm done. Other then that I really enjoyed my experience and recommend enjoying this place I wanted to give it 3 an a half stars but 4 is safe. Food is pretty good."

"Eating at cav never disappointed. the scallops were delicious and my dinner partner loved the hard fish. it was a very busy Wednesday night with the jazz trio game, but the service was excellent. we sat two tables from the band and although they were excellent, they were very loud. so loud we almost had to scream to hear each other. when they go on Wednesday night, they sit on the side of the restaurant opposite the band."
