A great gem hidden away in rural Wisconsin. Atmosphere was cozy, our mocktails were delicious, and the French onion soup was amazing. My husband's steak was a bit over cooked and the dessert we ordered had a bit of an off taste but the staff was unbelievably nice about it and took it off the bill. I really was hoping for a better experience here particularly given the positive reviews. The service was one notch above abysmal. And there were plenty of people working (so there really was no excuse for the poor service). Food was average at best but the portions were large. Prices are high. The nice atmosphere is the only high point if the meal. They do charge extra if you are paying with a credit card. View all feedback.
