"We popped in for a drink and snack after wandering around Grand Forks in the hot hot weather. Loved the shady patio. Service was good, drinks were cold and our French fries were piping hot. Smoking is allowable on the patio which could be bothersome."

"A great find on #3. If you're headin through Grand Forks and have an empty stomach, skip past those greasy grub shacks like A&W or DQ and make your way to the Wooden Spoon.<br/ <br/ The bistro is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the food is exceptional!<br/ <br/ I can Not wait to go back for more. "Returned to Grand Forks for the first time in 40 years. Missed the Doukhobor food. Great borscht, varenaki and pyrahi at a decent price. Co-owner Lil was friendly and reminisced with me about the old days, even though this was the first time we'd met....Highly recommend it."

"Been wanting to check out this place since we moved here back in October, my mom came to visit from Ontario we stoped in for lunch I enjoyed a Elisabeth Taylor burger (so good) my mom fish and chips and she was born in Newfoundland (so picky about her fish) and loved it so much in fact we went back for breakfast this morning awesome friendly service, I think we found our new favorite spot. Thank you, great experience ! Your new regulars, Victoria,Christina and family"

"This is by far the best restaurant in the entire boundary area. Consistent superior quality that can’t be matched anywhere when it comes to sushi, sashimi and anything else you order. We have eaten in multitudes of sushi restaurants and this one beats them all...hands down. The pricing is relevant to their superior quality so if you want cheap food eat elsewhere and you’ll get cheap food with inferior quality!"
