Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Waitstaff was friendly and fun, the food was immaculate, overall a great experience. My wife got the sirloin and it was cooked to perfection and I had the best Reuben I’ve ever had in my life, I had to order a second one! Tucker and Kathy were great and helpful and made it such a welcome place. Love this place!! View all feedback.
What C Campbell (Cndc0618) doesn't like about Steer Inn:
Based on the reviews, I had high expectations for homestyle country food. Pros: Loved the fresh green beans. Attentive server. Meh: The chicken fried steak wasn't what I was expecting because the breading wasn't golden and crispy. Cons: The Mac n cheese looked like box Kraft, I was really disappointed. The full buffet apparently isn't open during weekday lunch, just the salad bar. View all feedback.
It was quiet and well decorated, nice lighting. Staff was nice. Food was unbearable. The steak looked good but the entire thing was not chewable. Vegetables were cheap and obviously frozen. Mac and cheese was kraft, everything was just tasteless and from the grocery store. “Chocolate pie” was just pudding with soggy crust. I just kept ordering more food because we were staying at a hotel without food and I was still hungry because everything was so gross. Would never return.
All I can say is WOW! The food included in their buffet was hot, fresh and delicious. Nothing was lukewarm or bland. We just happened to be passing through and stopped for dinner. It was so good that I would be willing to drive out of my way to eat here again. Thank you for such a pleasant experience and the mouthwatering food. Oh, and the service was spot-on!
The food was awful. Okra was burnt to a crisp, and I had to wonder why even serve it to a customer? I mean it, the fried Okra was black when it came out.I also ordered the chicken fried steak. The meat was raw and the breading still mushy.
The first burger was extremely dry and overcooked and the second barely had anything on it and was raw. I definitely would not recommend at all.
