"Although we live near to Chabanais, this is the first time we have eaten here. We had booked a table and it was clear that this was very necessary, Covid-19 or not. The three of us had the plat du jour and the price, which...includes a 1/4 litre of wine of one's choice (colour! , was only €14 for four courses. On the day, the main dish (plat was some excellent beef in a simple sauce with a large boiled potato or, for an extra €1, chips could be had. The service was extremely quick, with the host/owner taking orders electronically on his device and transmitting all this to the waiting staff.
