"Nice location for a restaurant, but when we wanted to join two tables of two in the outside seating area we where harshly told this is not permitted and we were asked to have our kids sit on a different end of the outside area than us. So we left. Reputation might be good, but friendliness needs to improve."

"Very nice location right at Old Breaker Port. From the terrace you have a great view over the port to the Elbe and the passing ships. We had salmon rolls and drinks and were very satisfied with the price and taste. The service was friendly but not particularly attentive; No one came by alone and asked if we still want something. Maybe the total turnover is so good that it is not necessary."

"Probably we got eight here. We were very quickly turned to a table and these were assembled without asking very nicely! After 20 minutes the food came, which was very warm and super delicious. "The last evening of our annual winter holiday in Cuxland in 2017 had begun, and from the refrigerator in the chic holiday home we jumped out a shiny void. What was closer was to drive the few kilometers to Cuxhaven and sneak fresh fish there again. Since we wanted to conquer the old fishing port, of course this was our first destination. But the disappointment was spread quickly, with the exception of the “Fishbörse”, where we were already a day before lunch, all other fish restaurants had closed for the evening. Okay, so the few meters went to the “Loyds”, but this store was full of breaks on Friday night. There was nothing left to run until the new fishing port. There we stood before several opened guest roses, and we chose “The Little Fish Box” which we visited last year. Immediately at the entrance there was a table for us four, so we took it, although we didn't like it so directly at the door. This also seemed to have been noticed by the service because it offered us to take another place where the guests had paid. Foreword We have accepted gratefully, not accepted that it would ultimately have no positive influence on our visit. There's nothing to complain about cleanliness. Guest rooms and sanitary facilities were clean and well maintained. Conclusion: The food really delicious, unfortunately partly stretched with flavor enhancers or finished powder. Prices are significantly higher than in the old fishing harbour, but also one of the few restaurants that opened in this corner in the evening. Only the service should remember that the customer pays his salary. We had the same problem in 2014. The food has partially improved in the positives, the service is still back. And in the future, please do without flavor enhancers. We don't need that!"
