What User doesn't like about Yogurtland Cypress:
The service was terrible. They called to make a reservation at 10 o'clock, but they took all the tables and seats at 9:30. The staff was rude and only provided our family with one table, despite there being children with us. View all feedback.
At Yogurtland, you serve yourself by selecting a bowl, filling it with your choice of frozen yogurt flavors, adding toppings, weighing your creation, and paying based on the weight. However, I was a bit frustrated because I had no idea how many ounces my yogurt weighed, and taking off toppings wasn’t practical. I decided to go back to self-serving for the first time in a while, but it seemed that pre-packaged swirls were my preferred option. My subtotal needed to be at least $8 for my reward to apply, but I overestimated the weight of my bowl. When I scanned my Yogurtland barcode, the cashier couldn’t see any reward on my account. Curious about the price per ounce, I checked with the cashier and discovered it was actually cheaper than at the Lakewood location, so I had to go back and add more toppings to meet the $8 minimum. When I returned to the register, I had increased the weight, but not enough to reach my target! I had started with a smaller bowl, thinking it would be sufficient, and I didn’t want to waste any perfectly good yogurt. But eventually, I decided to grab a bigger bowl, fill it up, and add even more yogurt and toppings. Admittedly, it didn’t look as good as before, but taste was my main concern. While the frozen yogurt was delicious, some of the toppings were so hard that I genuinely worried about breaking my teeth! After my visit to Egg n Bird, I found myself checking reviews to understand why, and I realized I needed to be more careful with my bites. At least it forced me to slow down and savor each spoonful in the warm weather. Although the toppings tasted good, they certainly didn’t have that fresh quality— they felt like they had been frozen for a while. One thing I didn’t love about this Yogurtland location was the layout, as there wasn’t much space to fill your froyo bowls. The self-service machines were all lined up against the left wall, and if you wanted a specific flavor, you had to go back to the line, which could be frustrating if there were other customers waiting. When I went back for more toppings, a customer seemed annoyed with me, but believe me, I was just as frustrated that I had to go back to utilize my reward. Before stepping into line, I highly recommend checking out all the flavors and toppings beforehand, to avoid going back and forth in line. As for my froyo flavor, I chose a mix of cotton candy and watermelon sorbet. Each machine offers two flavor options, but there are three levers; the middle lever combines the two. If you can’t decide between flavors, you can enjoy the best of both worlds! Overall, my froyo experience was satisfying, especially since I was in the mood for fruity flavors.
It's great that it's open late, making it a perfect spot to cool off on a summer night, especially since most places in this city aren't open past 10 o'clock.

I have never been to yogurtland, but my granddaughter wanted to go. I get that it is self serve, but neither of us knew how to work the dispensers, so we tried some based on the picture above them. Then put a few toppings on, and a cherry on top. All the while, I'm looking for a price. No sign. Nothing. No menu for sizes, nothing. As we get close to the cashier, I see a scale. Not that concerned until I was told it was 8.53. No receipt printer not working. Hmmmm, I'll have to eat lunch at home today.
