I recently visited the newly renovated "Trooper" pub and was impressed with its beautiful decor and gardens. The drink selection, including wines and beers, was great. I’ve attended this pub before when walking in the area so thought I’d return for a birthday lunch with friends. To keep in line with government COVID-19 guidelines I enquired over the phone about a table outside and asked if it had cover (the weather forecast was for showers).
