Was passing on my bike and popped in round the back where I found an oasis of calm, with a beautiful garden and enjoyed a pint from the very courteous and friendly staff. The smell from the garden kitchen was mouth-watering but sadly I couldn’t sample the food but I’ll be back to enjoy it soon I’m certain. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and highly recommended. I’ve attended this pub before when walking in the area so thought I’d return for a birthday lunch with friends. To keep in line with government COVID-19 guidelines I enquired over the phone about a table outside and asked if it had cover (the weather forecast was for showers).
