What John Alhelm likes about Al Biernat's North:
I have eaten at AB's twice in the last three weeks. Easy in and out for the valet. Interior is nicely appointed but not lavish; classy. Service is attentive; my water glass was never not full. Nice lunch menu with prices from moderate to high something for everyone. This is a great lunch spot. I would assume their dinner is equally as good. View all feedback. This is NOT the Al B's of the past. Overall we were terribly disappointed. The seating hostesses were the best part of our evening because they were accommodating when we requested a booth in the bar. It was downhill from there. This used to be an upscale dining experience last night was like Dennys with ambience. Our server, Ronnie, was MIA for part of the evening our steak was oversalted and asparagus overcooked. U...
