Ana was our waitress and she was one of the best we've ever had anywhere. She was attentive, didn't forget requests and overall very polite and accomodating. The food was great, particularly the chips and salsa, they were outstanding and the place as a whole has a cozy charm about it. We definitely found our favorite Go-to local texmex place. El Fenix is my favorite Mexican food restaurant.
Love it. Not the best Mexican food out there, but always delicious, and I leave happy. Great atmosphere, friendly service.

"Where do I begin? When you walk in, you’re immediately treated like family. The atmosphere is so friendly and relaxing that you feel right at home! The service is impeccable! The owner and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. You can tell they truly care about their customers. Now, the food is unbelievable! I’m Ukrainian, and my husband is American. We both couldn’t have been happier with the food! We ordered A LOT (beef tongue, Russian style herring, borscht, Turkish liver, manti, plov, lamb ribs kebab, buckwheat kasha with mushrooms, and Napoleon). Every dish was so spectacular that we had to come back for dinner the next day! Sadly, we live 4 hours away, but this will be our only go-to restaurant every time we’re in Dallas!"
