Royal38 is such a blast, especially during the holidays! This place is always decked out, has awesome themed drinks to go with the Miracle Pop Up, AND the food is delicious. Everyone comes for the cocktails, but I stay for the spare ribs: highly recommend, they fall right off the bone! And the salad I had was full of strawberries and fresh greens. Glad to know their food menu stays well into the new year. View all feedback.
What Mercedes H doesn't like about Royal 38:
Pretty that we can all this way only to find that they were closed. No signage indicating a change in hours or closure due to an event. We were allowed to make reservations, which is horrible on their part. Called ahead and nothing was recorded on the outgoing message indicating that they were closed due to an emergency. We won't return. View all feedback.

I had the Benedict Lobster with tomato, poached eggs, potato cake and lemon hollandaise. Absolutely delicious!!! My drink decision was so hard but I figured I would order two cocktails. I went with the Christmas Carol Barrel. It featured tequila, coffee liqueur, and chocolate biters. It was boozy (yay to that) the flavor was a little strange (meh). Was it still drinkable. Heck yeah! We had a big issue with ordering. Yes, normally it?s pretty simple using the app and foodbeing delivered. When a person in my party not once but 3 times asked about her drink that never came?.it fell on death ears. The wait staff trusted the app wholeheartedly and brushed it off with, ?I?m sure it?s on its way.? It never came.We finished our meals. When the final person said he would check on it. He busied himself with other tasks before coming back to the table. She just asked to have the item removed from the bill. A bland apology was made and not to muchafterwards. I felt bad because all of my food and drinks came out effortlessly. So, it?s not always the customer is right but you should take heed when inquiry?s are made.
Some friends and I went for after dinner drinks and were in awe of all the Christmas Decor. We loved it. Every room is decorated differently. Their cocktails are delicious and all Christmas themed. Don't try to sneak off with a drink cup and get caught. You'll end up Santa's naughty list. Great atmosphere and great music. You must attend this Miracle on 38 Christmas themed pop up bar. If you can't find street parking there is a parking garage and valet parking.
If you’re hungry get the waffle fries. These things brought me back to my youth.Great location near AAC. We went after a Stars game.
Disappointing Experience at Royal 38I recently visited Royal 38 Cocktail Bar and my experience left much to be desired. The overpriced menu, reminiscent of Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, featured basic dishes like chicken tenders and waffle fries, lacking the creativity one might expect. Even the brisket nachos failed to impress. The pricing was exorbitant, with a small IPA costing a steep $9 and cocktails priced at $15 and above. The atmosphere, while seemingly a selling point, doesn't justify the expense. The furniture was cheap, tables wobbly, and the complimentary tap water seemed like a poor substitute for the high prices on the menu. The service, unfortunately, matched the mediocrity of the offerings. My group was checked on only twice throughout our visit, contributing to an overall lackluster experience. For a place where a cheeseburger sets you back $19 and drinks range from $9 to $15, one would expect more attentive service and at least filtered water. In conclusion, Royal 38 Cocktail Bar left me unimpressed, and I won't be returning. My advice to others: save your money. To those giving 4-5 star reviews, I encourage you to explore other options because this establishment falls short.Parking: $10 valet parking. That kid was alright.
