What Nikki M doesn't like about Los Molcajetes #2:
We were so excited to check this place out. Every time we have gone there's been a 2 hour wait. So we came at 1:30 on a Saturday and just waited 20 minutes. I hate to report that I was not impressed, the waiter wasn't the nicest, the salsa tasted like it was out of a can, the food was bland. It was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk and the tables were so close we were hitting elbows with the other tables. I do... View all feedback.

Chips, queso, house salsas, and guacamole are also delicious.4 stars instead of 5 only because I have also ordered some not so great things: quesadilla with very minimal fillings for the price, dry and bland chicken fajitas, and quail that is 50% of the time great, 50% of the time very much not so great. But the steak and shrimp fajitas and rice and beans are worth your time, every time. Highly recommended on those things alone.
Vegetarian Review:This is an excellent Mexican restaurant with plenty of vegetarian options. I was there on 8/24/23, and the place was cute, casual, and clean. We were provided with chips and salsa, and both were exceptional. I could not stop eating those chips! Our server, Leticia S., was friendly, helpful, and prompt. We loved her! When I told her that we were vegetarians, she made suggestions for items that we could order, and suggested modifications for other dishes. We ultimately ordered the spinach enchiladas, mushroom onion enchiladas, cheese enchiladas with queso (not the gravy), bean cheese nachos for kids, and a margarita on the rocks with salt. All of the food was fresh and arrived quickly. The spinach enchiladas were very good, but the cheese enchiladas were even better. The veggie quesadillas were also tasty and had a nice presentation. The refried beans were not a huge hit at our table, and I' m not really sure that they are vegetarian, so I recommend asking which is what I should have done. The margarita was outstanding. It was too sweet or tart, and had just the right amount of tequila. Hooray for their excellent bartender. I highly recommend this place!
Randomly stopped in for lunch so I was unsure what to expect. The staff was friendly and very efficient. Margaritas are a solid 8.5/10, really good. And the food was fairly decent. I ordered nachos from the lunch special. The serving was a nice size that I barely could finish. The chips tasted as if they were freshly made which catered to the taste. Overall, I would stop back in for another visit.
