This is a little gem of a place . Freindly staff and attention. It's 20 mins from Cartmel too. Great food and I mean really tastie. Not very expensive. Drinks again very reasonable. Parking is ample and free. Breakfast was good not a hughe choice but all branded cereals and full English. The teal bonus was I paid £50 for a very large double room. View all feedback.
What Dougie Rice doesn't like about Chequers:
This hotel looked outstanding online with past features being shown in each room so disappointed to be in the annex in a double room which is by it's best by a long shot.A foul smell lingers in the car park!! Council issues with refuse collection so someone had a brilliant idea to place a big skip at the entrance to the car park and dump the waste in there!!! read moreRoom we had a bit tired but very reasonable priced, staff really helpful and accomodating, excellent food and great breakfast, would definitely book again.
