I recently dined at El Taconazo for tacos. The restaurant has a simple name and a basic concept for their food and portion sizes. However, I was disappointed by the size of the tacos, as they were small and lacked flavor. The carne asada taco I ordered was chewy, dry, and tasteless. Put an order to go, drove 15 min and they didn’t even start the order. What a waste of my time. Never eating here
My nearly $15 'Super ' carne asada burrito was a bit dry. No evidence of sour cream, pico, and ? promised on the menu. Just meat beans and rice. Oversight or miscommunication? The carne asada had the decent flavor of real steak but was chopped in a manner that rendered it on the chewy side. I 'll give them another chance.
They appear to be out of business, or moved, and no one told Yelp. We were in the area, looking for Mexican food. The Yelp reviews were good, so we headed over. At the address given there's a totally different restaurant now! That was a of 4/15/23.
Michelada super is good because of the shrimp but it 's always warm and it 's almost as if they dont add all the beer to it. The shrimp soup is more of a thick tomato sauce than a soup and the shrimp taco dorados are super small and all tomato and onion. The portions here are small but the food seems fresh.
