What Lee H doesn't like about Bricktown Brewery Danville:
Stop in for lunch on drive from Charlotte to Charlottesville. Interesting concept: a brewery that doesn 't brew any beer! House brews made in Oklahoma City imported (as fresh as the truck can get them here, I guess). Ordered a Sam O 'fest (was as expected). Decaf for wife was excellent, she said. Ordered burger sliders chicken quesadillas. Both good. Country tunes in the muzak to mix with classic Creedence, sort of r... View all feedback.

On our way thru, another Yelp totally random find. On the menu is Big Mike's Meatloaf. How could we NOT stop? Starting with two of their excellent hazy IPA's, I...

"Downtown Danville has been busy renovating old tobacco and textile buildings turning them into inviting and charming places of business for the public to enjoy. Cotton is in one of these buildings with The Dan River flowing along just beyond their outdoor patio. . The servers and bartenders have always been helpful and friendly, as well as attentive and pretty quick on their feet. The menu is full of delicious items, many sporting names that pay tribute to the history of the location. They also offer a rather long list of alcoholic beverages with some items coming straight from local Danville breweries and wineries. . It is a great place to celebrate birthdays (we have on occasion) as well as a nice place to sit and relax in a comfortable atmosphere with friendly faces, a happy hour cocktail, and truffle fries or wings . . As we walked out last time, there were customers visiting for the first time. They weren 't sure where the entrance was. You go to the leafy covered arch that says 'Riverside Mill ' (located to the left of the Cotton side of the building), follow that short path into the glass double doors, go up the stairs to the next floor, and they are to your right."

"Excellent food. We were a few times. The pizza is amazing, cheese steak is great, they have an amazing salad bar. The homemade chips are the best I ever had. Love this restaurant"
