"We came in for out of town to visit the casino. Wanted a nice meal to start our day. Found Cotton at Riverside Mill and it sounded perfect. We were seated quickly at a booth that was crammed up against a wall and too small, we moved to a table near the window, which was much better. Our waiter came right over, took our drink order. Drink came and we ordered our meals. Two of us had a salad , the other two ordered a sandwich. 30 minutes later, one salad arrived. In a few minutes, another salad arrived. Five more minutes one sandwich arrived. Now the last person was without food. We asked about his sandwich and they admitted they had to remake it because they accidentally prepared it wrong. His meal came easily ten minutes later. The fries we undercooked and his sandwich was lackluster at best. The chef came over to apologize for the long wait. Must have been pretty common practice because he wasn’t bothered. Two salads and two sandwiches. An hour and a half. $50 plus tip per couple. Too slow to consider coming back. Poor service , if it continues, will kill this venue."

"Delicious Italian fare in the heart of Danville 's downtown adjacent to the Riverwalk. We enjoyed appetizers, salads, and entrees. Patio seating was closed, I 'm assuming because of the rain earlier in the day. T our server was awesome. She was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. "This place has been around a long time. Smallish inside and they are suffering from staff shortages.. the pizza buffet is small work 5 or 6 pies and their salad bar had just a few more thing on it. The staff is nice and the pizza is good. Work staffshortages just packs some patience they are doing the best they can"

"The bride was perfected as usual. The smoked chicken (leg/leg) was a bit dry for my pleasure. The server was polite, but not overly involved. The table was a bit sticky and the floors had a little debit on them, but this is to be expected. Overall, the experience was beautiful and we will be back when the appetite for BBQ strikes again."

"I noticed that many of the Italian restaurants began to buy less expensive ingredients as soon as the pandemic hit. I can taste the difference to the cheese. Not those guys. Delicious authentic Italian flavors!! They still use high-quality ingredients and their food is fabulous."

"Franks is so cool, feel like family when you walk through the door. They have the kids baby photos on the wall, super cute. The service is fantastic, Gabriel is awesome! The food is fantastic, seafood was fantastic. I love the mussels, the pizza is great, the tiramisu is awesome and home made. The have really good cakes. Excellent salads, we keep going back! This place will be a regular stop for us. Go and give it a try, you will be glad you did."
