Second time going to Bud Marilyn's. They have a fantastic happy hour. A beer burger for $10! And it was good! Can't beat that. Today my husband I went there for their prix fixx peach theme brunch. Soooooo good! The food was absolutely delicious. We had a carafe of peach Bellinis, Frittata, Peach Cornmeal pancakes, Marscapone Peach mixed greens salad, mini sticky buns omg. $70 for 2 people. Great value, our server Kri... View all feedback.
What MinJae Cho doesn't like about Bud Marilyn's:
Don’t waste your money here. Been here several times and it’s consistently been disappointing. Service is always haphazard, cocktails taste watered down like something is missing, and the food is mediocre at best, overpriced for what it is with nothing unique. Maybe this place used to be good, but in the past several years, I’ve always felt like I’ve wasted my time after eating here. View all feedback.
Went into Bud Marilyn's for the first time on a Tues night, just prior to 7pm. Sat quickly and ordered the shareable kimchi rice with glazed tofu to start. For my entree, I ordered the Nashville hot chicken buns. From start to finish, everything I ate was packed full of flavor! There were quite a few things on the menu that I really would like to go back and try. (The scallop appetizer being one of them for sure). But I might have a difficult time not ordering the same dishes over again! Service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was chic...loved it!
Bud Marilyn’s just gives modern American cuisine. I sat at the bar for brunch and Kelsey was very attentive to every one of her customers. For someone who loves fruity cocktails, she made the best philly club! In terms of food, i was pleasantly surprised with the chiquéales. This is my 2nd time here this month and I’m definitely coming back soon.
Large agreement of beers brewed on-site. Staff is interested in helping you select the correct beer for you.
We dined at Bud Marilyn's on a recent Wednesday night. Apparently, they have an extended happy hour on Wednesday's and the place was PACKED and it was VERY LOUD. However, once 7;30pm rolled around, the place empltied out and we could actually have a conversation. The space is super cool with a vintage vibe (as is intended). The menu is fun and approachable. Our server was super nice and effiicient and guided us with the few decisions we found ourselves making. The food was excellent. The Nashville hot chicken is spciy, but not overly so. All of the stuffed bun choices are fun and varied enough you could do two. The wedge salad was ample and well dressed, though a little heavy on the dressing. My fault for not ordering it light. We look forward to going back!
Wanted to try something different, made a reservation for brunch before matinee show! Service was fast and friendly, food was delish! would definitely recommend and 100% coming back for dinner! Drinks were also a hit! (both non-alcoholic drinks were great!
