Here's the thing about soul food...some people can make it, some can't. Jamil's Cafe CAN make IT!!! I went there HUNGRY, HUNGRY after a long morning of work. I ordered fried whiting, yams cabbage. Let's just say Jamil's is on my LIST now. Everything I do mean EVERYTHING was ?. I love me some fish and mine was fried perfect!!!! Because I'm greedy, I had to get some cake too. I ordered three stuffed salmon with 2 sides each and my 3rd platter contained only the fish and a bread roll with one side which was in a separate container. I've called 8 times at 6:30pm and got no answer. They didnt even call to suggest a substitute. Nor just sub out a greens for what they didnt have or double the second side. Nothing.
