Haven't been to John's since the 90's. Of course the food is different now. The food was good. I wanted a classic fish hoagie and it was everything I thought it would be. That is my go to when I want those nostalgic classics. I think the food is somewhat reasonably priced for the current times. The staff was polite and courteous and friendly. The service is very nice. The staff is very pleasant and although they are really busy. They work hard to get the orders out. And the food is good.

The food was great. I just wished they offered more sides like Mac cheese and greens or cabbage.

"Came in Saturday at closing (didn’t realize they closed early that night) so I didn’t get to try it. Went again on Monday and actually got to try it, A3 and it was delicious. THEN, went again on Tuesday?? Two days in a row for this!! Like why is it so delicious? A1 with extra pomelo is my go to, it’s the perfect end of the night sweet treat and my friend loved it too (she was a first timer). The mango is ripe and fresh every time, definitely a great spot with a relaxed vibe."
