Gave this place a try today, it was hands down the best BBQ in pope county. Had the 3 meat combo pulled pork and sausage with baked beans and potato salad. The pulled pork was awesome, you can tell the sausage is home made and had a really nice smoky flavor. I went in on a Friday a little after lunch. The hostess was polite and helpful--recommended the brisket, which is one of my favorites. When I got my food, I was disappointed. The brisket was VERY fatty and was honestly more like roast beef. It didn't have much flavor--either of spices or smoke.
