This place has the best chicken, it's marinated and grilled so it's golden and never dry. That's reason enough to go there but the salad, sides, and grilled Texas toast are just as great. New ownership in the past few years has updated the interior and the staff really seem to enjoy talking with the customers. Haven?t been to a roosters in awhile. I used to go to the one in Lombard quite often but the Darien location is very close to my residence. Went there at 4:30 and ordered 1/2 chicken and it was so dried out that I threw most of it out. For 20 bucks forchicken and then to throw it out I wasn?t happy. The staff is very friendly.. the food is so fresh especially the bread! The chicken was tender and full of flavor. You should definitely try this place!
This is mine and my husbands go to place in the area. Food is so great, so fresh and the service is awesome. Highly recommend
Food and service were very good! Home made sausage was juicy and flavorful and the chicken was cooked perfectly.
