Miskatonic Brewing - Darien

Great beer! The dungeon master with ancho Chile was great. The Oktoberfest here was my fave! Live music--decent patio. A few cute dogs.

We went on weekday evening was less crowded, we took the inside, place was clean, sanitizer was there when we had to clean our table. service was excellent, I was confused to pick up beer barkeeper (forgot his name) helped to choose one and it was the best I had, we could take our own food that is even better out, I will visit definitiw again

Took an evening motorcycle ride to this brewery. super nice people who are very respectful of the the new way of doing things around the covid pandemic. felt safe and their beer is amazing and well worth the drive from the city.

I think somewhere on Yelp or Google, it mentioned a taproom with a view so when we were out west of Chicago, we decided to stop by to enjoy said taproom with a view...of a highway? View aside, they had some tables set-up outside to enjoy the nice weather. We got a flight and most of the beers were meh, but that Blood Orange Storm Shake was worth the trip out. Absolutely delicious. I've had the Storm Shake before and that's been by far, my favorite from Miskatonic aside from this blood orange version. We were hoping that there would be some Hop Butcher on tap since Hop Butcher doesn't have a taproom yet, but brew in Miskatonic's space. Unfortunately, there was none, which was a huge bummer. All in all, the beer was okay and it was a nice day outside.

Beautiful day with great music and good beer! I highly recommend this place!
