Our family loves The Goose and has gone there for years. The only part I would complain about and it may just be a one-off type experience but I could help but feel rushed. "Just a bad dinner. That was our anniversary. Big mistake. Avon the waitress was excellent and very friendly. Dinner was a bust. Started with lamb and onion soup for appetizers The chips were so fat. The onion soup was burned up. I couldn't believe they sent it that way. Then for dinner Kathy had the shrimp daylitels The shrimps were soft and muddy. Taste was terrible. I had the Cheeseburger. It was a little undercooked and fell apart. There were only three choices. The burger, salmon and 10 ounces of steak. Couldn't wait to get out. I think it was just a bad night."
