"After spending the weekend in a lot of supper amazing restaurants this one was by far the most amazing place we came to Ian and his team run an extremely well organised and friendly restaurant with food of the highest quality and presentation. Each member of staff took pride it what they did. We will most definitely be coming back as the food was unforgettable. "What a cracking little pub! We were made to feel most welcome, with both locals and staff alike friendly and chatty. My coeliac husband enjoyed a choice of gluten free beers on tap (we only discovered one of them was gluten free by accident, as the staff weren't aware). The pub quiz was also great, with good crack from the local teams. We ate at the pub once and popped down for a pint on a few other occasions while we were staying in the village. I would definitely recommend booking in advance if you want to eat, as it's a popular destination. Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options with GF beers on tap some of the Abbeydale choices are GF but not labelled as such."

"Fabulous food. Two of us are vegetarian and great choice. None of the four of us could finish the huge portions. Very friendly staff. First visit but won't be the last. Only £60 bill which included our tip. Can't fault anything."
