We have been coming to Tandoori Palace for about twenty five years. We have brought our family and friends here. It feels like home even thought we are from Newcastle. The food, wine and ambience is wonderful. As well seasoned travellers here and overseas we can honestly say this is our favourite restaurant in the world. View all feedback.

Victim to the monstrum The Darlinghurst Collection , google it) that the City of Sydney waved through against its own guidelines in an ill-advised attempt to revitalize Oxford Street which it had its fair share in destroying.
Recently celebrated a friend’s birthday here. Couldn’t have picked a better place. The food is simply outstanding with service to match. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening thank you to the manager Simon you’re a legend! Can’t wait to be back!

Having searched Sydney for good quality Indian food happy to say this meets the criteria. Don’t necessarily expect an entirely authentic experience most dishes misspelt and only one Indian beer on the drinks menu, but standard ‘taquila’ if you want that with your curry), but, the mains were very, very good. Rich and flavoursome curries at 50% $10) each exactly what you want for a small group on a Friday night located in the middle of Oxford Street.
Amazing service, delicious food and incredible hospitality. So glad we chose to dine in as the staff were so helpful and friendly.
