If you want excellent fish and chips try here...... We like to think we know a good fish chips and have tried them everywhere from Cornwall to Scotland. I visited last week. The shop had good reviews and was fairly close to where I was staying. I bought haddock and chips. The main problem was a soggy, greasy batter. This had soaked through to the meat of the fish so it no longer retained its beautiful whiteness. The chips were mostly small and hard. One of the worst fish suppers I've ever had.
