Had a lovely meal in this restaurant, the staff were very friendly and efficient, I had the fish chowder which was wonderful and my husband had the game pie with chunky chips which were cooked to perfection. We had dinner one night and two breakfasts, on a two night stay in the hotel. The dinner was way below par my medium well steak has provided new soles for my shoes having been way overcooked and tough as leather. Other dishes were equally uninspiring and the menu limited. Breakfast buffet was OK on choice (not 'luxury ' though) but hot food in the buffet was barely tepid! Very unappetising. Overall very disappointing... read more.
