Brightwood does a fantastic job at catering a wedding; I heard quite a number of guests raving about the food; and some said it was the best meal they ever had at a wedding. Staff was excellent and responsive to all our needs. Not a single issue. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Brightwood Golf & Country Club:
Brightwood is a nice course but you better be ready for some serious hill climbing if you are walking the course. Club house is nice too but remember this is a private club. Guests of members are welcome to play. View all feedback.
I always find the food is very good, but the service is very slow. Unfortunately the day I went, there was another function going on at the same time which hindered the service.
Very challenging course but not too too challenging for beginners. Quite hilly. Highly recommended. Excellent food for afterwards.
A few of us went to the restaurant and found that we were the only customers there, so we were quickly seated. The server brought us menus shortly after we arrived. The appetizers came out in a timely manner. My wife chose the seafood chowder, which was very filling. I opted for the spinach salad, which was also quite substantial. My wife tried the Thai chicken wrap and thought it was just okay. I had the curry chicken linguine and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our friends ordered the salmon, beef tenders, and fish dishes, and they were all happy with their meals.
Brightwood is conveniently located near all amenities, right in the heart of Dartmouth. It's a perfect spot for golfers looking to relax, with a clubhouse that includes a sports shop and friendly staff. One standout is Pat Lawyer, who is very knowledgeable and great to chat with.
The menu is diverse and offers a nice variety. The service is quick and friendly. The seafood is fresh and beautifully plated. We will definitely be coming back.
