"A tiny place with seating form maybe 10 which serves individual pies like hamburgers. The savoury pies were delicious! We had the steak and cheese and the chicken, cranberry and brie. The only complaint was the filling was so hot we had to be patient in eating it which was difficult because it was so good. A must spot to go for food!"

"Our favorite of the three top shelf restaurants we dined at in Halifax. Located in a small boutique hotel, Stories is a treat for the eyes and the stomach. We shared Duck Three Ways for an app: sliced duck prosciutto, smoked duck, and duck rillettes. Absolutely one of the most beautiful presentations ever. The duck was so good we both had Duck Magret for entrees: again, beautiful presentation, delicious, and ample. Limited selection of wines by the glass, but I was happy with the selection I made. We recommend this restaurant without any reservation, although reservations are recommended. A real treat"
