Amazing staff and high quality foodFreeman's never disappoints.

Fresh fish delivered to your door? How could you go wrong? You can'tThis is my first meal in Halifax and it was delicious.

Had Freeman's from this location a few times- on Thursday I ordered delivery- gotta love a place that is open late so an extra star for that automatically!

"We have had wonderful meals at the restaurant before Covid. Tonight, we ordered a take and bake lasagna. To our surprise, this lasagna was the first takeout meal that our three guests and I felt is better than our own homemade lasagna. The lasagna was...al dente, just the right texture. There was a generous amount of exceptional, flavourful, provolone and ricotta cheeses and just the right amount of meat. The Béchamel .sauce was superb. Who knew gourmet takeout could be excellent and reasonably priced."

"John's Lunch came highly recommended and definitely lived up to expectations. The location is great with ferry and bus access at Woodside and easily accessible regardless of where you're coming from. The service was prompt and really friendly. They know they're good but they are humble about it, and this is probably what makes them the best. The haddock was probably the best I've ever had and the rice pudding was great, too. I will definitely return in the future and I think you should too."
