"This long established venue is open until 9pm on a Wednesday night. We were out on a rainy evening and just wanted coffee and a cake. The vast majority of cafes are closed around 5.30pm and it was really heartening to find this warm and comfortable spot. Coffee and rock buns hit the spot. Worth knowing this facility of a late night snack."

"Waste of £50. Lamb chop starters were nice not putting that down however could be giving you more for the price. At least 4 instead of 3. Tandoori prawn main. 4 average sized prawns, ridiculous for the price. I got a garlic naan with this which was 100% a left over from a table as it had all been chopped up as if it was for a restaurant party. Cold and like cardboard. Not once has my naan been chopped up from this place. All in all I’d recommend looking elsewhere this place is mediocre food with a high price. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3"

"Warning: They add a £0.50 service charge to collection orders. I have eaten here once before (2014? found it to be over priced was told that it is better to get take away from here. Today I ordered Pakora for collection; it was nice, softer/ not as crispy as the pakora from my usual places but still nice. Good sized portion too. Was told £4.95 over the phone, but when I got there the same staff member charged me £5.45 (so I had to put my £5 note away and use my card . Restaurant looked clean and presentable, the food was good, but they charge you extra for the sake of it so would not recommend or go back. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian option was nice, they did charge extra however. "The staff here are very welcoming, polite and professional. The food is superb; perfectly spiced, piping hot and plenty of it. Prices were also great, four of us had starters, main course and drinks for less than £20 per head. Highly recommend and we will be back."
