What Calista Schowalter likes about Four Birds:
Situated right at the entrance of the plaza. Excellent food and coffee and friendly staff. Meals take a little while to arrive but worth the wait. Run by backpackers wearing interesting uniforms, well sort of wearing uniforms. Great place to stop on the way to wave pool. Great job! read more.

In beautiful weather you can even eat in the outdoor area.

What Donavon VonRueden doesn't like about Four Birds:
The Milk Bar is situated in the Galleria. Basically in the centre surrounded by shops. Boutiques, food stalls, etc. The service was very average as was the coffee! Surprising when its sister coffee location is 4 birds in the star village arcade and for which I have only good to say about. Maybe the young staff were not prepared to put in an effort! Even a smile would have been good! read more.

"Although there were hardly any vegan options on the menu, they were dependent on my request for a vegan pasta (which was basically an existing dish minus the shells, replaced by black olive garlic. It was a bit bland, but better after adding chili oil s p. Orange fried salad was tasty, also ordered the pizza that was described in the previous review, it was nicely fresh wood fired, but basically the same sauce as the pasta, only on a pizza. I give them 4 stars for effort, service and food presentation."

"We've been through this rustic café while we explore Darwin's different arcades. In fact, this situation is unique as it used to be the old open air cinema. The Butterscotch Muffin was decadent and tasty and the special, four cheese toastia is the additional cholesterol worth your arteries yum!"

"Wanted Chilli NT mud craps and got it. Was delicious and fresh. It's pretty much a one lady show you guessed it, Cathy. Dining here is an experience'...it's like those restaurants where you pay top dollar to be intentionally be insulted. Except this is how it is at this place. Cathy mellows down a bit after but certainly a big contrast to your fine dining restaurants. Great place for those who have big egos and need some grounding'. You'll have a great laugh if you know what to expect, otherwise the customer service would appear initially as confronting. Remember you're here for the NT mud crabs. Due to staff shortages (i wonder why), she's serving mud crabs and fish only."
