Following the positive reviews on this site we called in for lunch on a horrible wet day and were made instantly welcome and rapidly felt quite at home. This was increased by the wide choice of gins in the bar (blood orange and pink grapefruit sampled and delicious) and by a very broadly based menu which contained all the usual pub elements.
