I think the food its pretty good but they have to compete with others. Their competitors are offering much cheaper prices with good quality. I think if they reduce their prices a little bit and work on the Decor and design of their restaurant they can be very successful View all feedback.
I’m here to try just one thing: a Shanghai specialty known as Lion’s Head clay-pot soup, featuring pork meatballs.

Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in Davis. Theres typical menu items like chow fun and Mongolian beef, etc but they have authentic dishes that you really won't find elsewhere. I love their spicy tendon beef appetizer and eggplant vermicelli in clay pot. This is a great place to bring a group of people to share dishes since they give you a lot. Be aware that they don't have a bathroom in the restaurant but it's in the American restaurant to the right of the place (just walk in towards the back)
This place makes some seriously delicious Chinese food. They also have a dim sum menu which is a nice bonus. I highly recommend the salted chicken clay pot dish. It's one of my favorites.
This is a great family restaurant with delicious and sizable dishes. I have read complaints about the service and experienced no such problems. Each dish is brought out once it is ready so everything is piping hot and made to order. The steamed vegetable dumplings are delicious, especially when dipped in some soy sauce and spicy oil. The Mongolian beef is SPICY, but addictingly good. The wanton noodle soup is very very tasty. Hit the spot for me. The only reason I did not give them 3 stars is because of the sweet and sour spareribs. The sauce was delicious, but the small pieces we got were a lot of fat and little meat. It was a lot of effort to cut them up and pick apart. Overall I would definitely recommend this place. I can't wait to go back. YUM. (Pic of our left overs for your viewing pleasure)
