my brother recommended us this place. we flew to dallas and drove to norman, ok and coveted bbq. this place did not disappoint at all. portions are generous? tante was excellent. beautiful BBQ sauces. this place is not so easy on/off from the autobahn. in any case, if we are in the opposite. What User doesn't like about Smokin' Joe's Rib Ranch:
Brisket was extremely dry and had zero flavor. Ribs had decent flavor. Pork tenderloin was a little dry also. Pinto beans were just plain nothing fancy beans. Fried okra was good. Cobblers we?re ok. Seemed like a Mrs Smith cobbler you can buy in the grocery store. Neat location. Brisket was big disappointment. View all feedback.

"Burger was damn good! Fresh, hot, lots of toppings. Fries were hot and fresh. Absolutely delish! Also ordered the daily special as seen on Facebook. Boy, I wish they look like what they posted. The steak fingers were over cooked, or maybe precooked and held in a warmer, but were very dark, like being cooked in old grease. They were also cold. Gravy was hot and fresh and the fries are perfect. Wouldn’t recommend the daily special for a late afternoon meal, I guess, but definitely go and try the burgers! (Would have given 5 stars, despite the old,cold, steak fingers, but they didn’t wipe off any of the tables after clearing them and we had to sit in a puddle of water, assuming from a water leak, in order to have a clean surface to eat on). Will be a fun, outdoor atmosphere when the weather warms up. We will give it another try soon!"
