Simmer Café is a cute 'hole in the wharf' at Walsh Bay with a sort of bohemian Parisian courtyard vibe but perched of Sydney Harbor.

"I had a great evening here recently. The alcohol license had just been granted meaning that there was a great busy atmosphere and lots of people enjoying evening drinks. The cocktails I had, particularly the 'King Street Queen ' was phenomenal sour, sweet and delicious. The food was superb we had antipasto, roasted pumpkin and cheese, and all of it was well made and beautifully presented. A must visit!"

"Went for a birthday dinner for my husband, curious to see what Afghan food was like. We were not disappointed! The waitress was friendly and knowledgable regarding the menu and how many dishes to order and the food was delicious, similar to North Indian but less spicy. A lovely relaxed evening, and for the amount of food we had, very reasonably priced. BYO a bonus but they are also licensed. Recommended."

"I love this place. Their Vietnamese chicken schnitzel banh mi is delicious. Their salads are huge and amazing value, packed full of yummy things. Anything with the sweet potato pattie in it is good. The veggie burger is amazing as well, almost bursting at the seams with a range of veggies, haloumi and sweet potato. After trying sandwich shops and cafes in this area searching for somewhere that is delicious, reasonably priced and within a quick walk from my work this place has taken the cake.  Another thing that separates these guys from the other lunch joints in the area is how nice the staff are.  Check City Edge out - you won't regret it."

"This place is without a doubt one of the best in Sydney. It's not surprising that they've won so many awards. Their gelato is excellent - there's always a wide selection of flavours, and if you're not into gelato, they've also got an assortment of sorbets and desserts which are also delicious! Service is always fast even when there are big queues. You simply can't go wrong with Cow & The Moon for an ice cream/sugar hit!"

"This place was expensive. there was a four-course menu and a small alternative, and it was not cheap. but it was a well balanced meal with a good mix of taste and some original touches. the main course was either to super delicate wagyu. cork meat or delicious white fish focused, but both were particularly inexorable in size, so if they are a great eater, I would not recommend this place unless they are satisfied to fill themselves on their delicious, warm sourdough bread. the doors were open all the length of the room and it was nice to sit in the evening in the beautifully designed low lighting, which over the old piers and the harbour."
