Johnny Rockets - Daytona Beach

The door was locked with a sign stating that they were short staffed and to please be patient with them. I get it. However, I went back over to the door, 10 minutes later and it was unlocked, I?m assuming by an outgoing customer, so I walked in, waited 15 minutes and then finally went to an employee asking them to escort me out so that another customer doesn?t come in, stand and wait, without even being approached.

The worst Johnny Rockets I have ever been to. Food was cold and the workers were nasty. They looked gross and dirty. Sent my food back. Worst experience ever. I love Johnny Rockets but the one in Daytona Beach is nasty. They never changed their gloves. They would wipe their face and then touch the food. Stay far away from this place.

Great food, beautiful view and great service considering they are short staffed like every restaurant right now. We didn't have to wait long for anything, which was perfect because we were starving and our juicy burgers and crisp tots were hot and came to the table quickly...we'll be back?

This restaurant is appalling. The staff cooks food without gloves, play with their ears, and handle the food without changing gloves. No one, not even the manager, addressed this issue when it was brought to their attention. It is extremely concerning for public health, especially during the COVID pandemic. When I visited on Sunday, July 10th, I drove from Orlando for a burger that was cold. The fries and onion rings were also cold and had to be sent back. The manager handled the food with their bare hands and did not seem concerned about the unsanitary conditions. The restaurant is dirty, especially considering its location on the beach. I urge the health inspector to visit before someone falls ill. Johnny Rockets, you're fired. You do not deserve any stars. I hope that management takes action to improve their practices and protect their customers.

Whenever we visit the beach, our first stop is always Johnny Rockets for some tasty hot dogs and burgers. It's a tradition for us. The hot dogs may be messy to eat, but they are absolutely delicious.
