Very friendly,hidden breakfast gem. Its inside the TropicalWinds hotel. Walk thru the lobby towards the ocean and you are there!Food is fair and afforable with good portion sizes. What Paul H doesn't like about Tropical Winds Resort:
This use to be our favorite hotel. The staff was always friendly and took care of the guest. It has been sold to a new owner and everything has changed. The staff was unfriendly, had to ask for towels and washcloths didn't even take the trash out. The manager did her best to fix our stay but to much was wrong she credited us for leaving early. "This find was a gem! We discovered it on Google and based on reviews, it was clear that we will have splendid experience. Well, guess what? They exceeded our expectations by a mile. Wish we had many restaurants like this where the owners truly care about their business and do it with passion. From the moment we stepped in, everything was wonderful. Geo and his wife go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and well taken care of. Not only that, they do it genuinely and with ease. The space is warm and inviting, and the atmosphere is great to digest their delicious creations. We ordered avocado toast and Argentinian crepe. Both were mouth watering. You can tell that they put their hearts into everything they do. Yummy! The Red Bud Cafe has beautiful energy and attention to detail is visible everywhere. Can?t wait to be back when we visit next time Daytona Beach. Thank you for your hospitality and care!"

"We have an excellent donut shop where we live, so we are harsh critics when it comes to donut shops. Most all other donut shops are disappointing, because they just don 't compare in taste or selection. This is a very simple, but cute, modern donut shop. The donuts are actually quite delicious! I wish we wouldn 't have waited until our last day to try them! The strawberry shortcake donut was to die for, and the hot chocolate is worth a try. You can even design your own donut, and they will make it exactly how you want it, so the donut options are endless. The staff was helpful, and friendly. We will have this place on our list of stops during our next trip to the Daytona beach/Ormond area. Donnie 's Donuts live up to their Vintage donut, modern charm slogan for sure. Such a cute place. This place is also accessible from the road behind the shop, and in front of the shop, and there is plenty of parking. No indoor dining at this time still due to C-19, but there are a few picnic tables outside open for use."

"OMG OMG,OMG!!! Initially, I complained about pricing figuring Id get a run of the mill chicken sandwich. Boy was I wrong. I normally hesitate Orting from new places because I like...I dont want to spend that kinda money on something I will hate. IT WAS SO GOOD!! portions size good, that sandwich was pretty , the broccoli season was amazing. I received a complementary macaroon and pickle. The soup was not a hit for me, however the packaging was done with care and they provided loads of crackers. I"
