Word is that the Winn Dixie on the beach is more expensive than on the mainland. NOT TRUE! I was pleasantly surprised, even shocked by the prices on most items like lettuce. Folks visiting our beaches can take it from a mainland shopper that you are getting some of the lowest prices at any Winn Dixie. And extremely nice cashiers will check you out.
